Event Description

Lotus Sports Club is an inspiring documentary filmed over five years in Cambodia that follows the coming-of-age journey of Leak, a teenage trans man on an under-21 women's football team. The film explores his bond with Pa Vann, the team's coach and father-figure to its LGBTQ+ players. This screening includes a double-bill presentation with Kick-Off, followed by a conversation with the film selection team, featuring Diana Munteanu, Teo Ștefan, and Maria Crîșmaru. The film is curated as part of the F-SIDES Wildcards Residency 2026.
