More details: Not My Cup of Tea: Not My Cup of Tea brings their lo-fi, atmospheric blend of alternative rock, shoegaze, and dream pop to the stage—a sound shaped between Piatra Neamț and Bucharest. What started as a jam session in 2019 grew into a full band, whose debut album, DWELL, was recorded in a small bedroom setting and captures the rawness of transitions and quiet endings. Their second album, Flat Sky Society, will be released this autumn, and on Friday night, you can hear all the new songs performed live at Encore. Soupy: Soupy comes from (real town name) TownTown, south of (equally real town) New Town. The band represents a collective effort to bring back (sub)culture in their bleak hometown through music, media references that have inadvertently taken over their lives, and unrestricted and unlimited access to the internet. In the summer of 2026, they released their first material, the EP "4 Bucks For A Bowl of Ramen". Genres: post-hardcore, emo, pop-punk, math rock. Heavy Joy: Heavy Joy is a grungegaze band formed in Bucharest in 2026. Our sound twists somewhere between shoegaze, grunge, and alternative, combining heavy guitars, dreamy atmospheres, and pure energy. Currently, we are working on our first songs, and the first single is set to release this autumn. Heavy Joy is a new project aimed at bringing ‘gaze culture to Romania.
