Event Description

If you visit Bucharest, you cannot miss the largest and most expensive administrative building in the world – the Parliament Palace: 86 metres tall, 90 metres deep, and covering 330,000 square metres. This guided tour reveals the secrets of the building and Nicolae Ceaușescu's intentions had he managed to complete it during his presidency.

This is the only guided tour where tourists enter through the entrance used by Nicolae Ceaușescu himself to reach his office – the so-called Office No. 1. It is also the only tour where you can visit the Senate Plenary Hall, home to the only atomic clock in Romania, and where you will stand close to the steel cylinder buried by Ceaușescu in 1984 under the main staircase at Entrance A1 — containing data and specifications related to the work. "I leave you this House…", was the formula used by the dictator.
