Event Description

Two young women live in Paris in 1962. Pauline (17 years old), a student, dreams of leaving her family to become a singer. Suzanne (22 years old) takes care of her two children and faces the tragedy of her father's suicide. Life separates them; each fights her own battle as a woman. Pauline becomes a singer in a militant, itinerant troupe after experiencing a difficult relationship in Iran. Suzanne gradually emerges from precariousness and works at the Family Planning Center... L'une chante, l'autre pas tells the story of the unshakable friendship between these two women over nearly 15 years. It's filled with laughter, tears, and song!
