Event Description

OZMA is one of the key names in contemporary French jazz. Founded in Strasbourg and led by drummer Stéphane Scharlé, the quintet has over twenty years of activity, eight albums, and more than 600 concerts across 43 countries. Their music blends rock energy, electronic textures, and jazz freedom into an accessible yet exploratory sound. They are also known for interdisciplinary projects, including multimedia concerts, photo-concerts, and film-concerts inspired by cinematic works. OZMA will also perform the live score for the cine-concert Paris qui dort, where Stéphane Scharlé uses augmented drums and live looping to create an electronic-acoustic soundtrack.
