Event Description

The Music of Morricone is part of the Sounds of Oradea Festival, returning from June 12 to 14 with three evenings dedicated to classical music and great artistic emotions. The fifth edition of this international festival will feature exceptional performances at renowned cultural venues in the city, including the Cetatea Oradea and Teatrul Regina Maria. The second evening pays tribute to one of the greatest composers in world cinema, Ennio Morricone. The famous Italian flautist Andrea Griminelli will perform, alongside the Oradea State Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra, featuring the unmistakable music from films such as The Mission and Cinema Paradiso, all under the direction of the esteemed conductor Vladimir Lungu. The concert will combine the sensitivity of film music with the unique atmosphere of Cetatea Oradea.
