Event Description

The WUKF Karate World Championship 2026 is the 14th edition of one of the biggest international WUKF karate competitions. The event takes place in Cluj-Napoca, between July 22–26, 2026, and brings together athletes of all ages and categories – children, cadets, juniors, seniors, veterans and people with disabilities, both in individual and team events. The competition will include kata and kumite trials, with participation from over 40–50 countries. The event aims to promote karate and showcases Romania’s organizational capabilities in hosting significant sporting events.
